How does it work?

Step 1: PICK UP I’ll pick up your VHS tapes

Step 2: DIGITIZE I’ll convert the tapes to a digital format

Step 3: EDIT I’ll edit the tapes from one long file to individual clips

Step 4: LABEL We’ll label the videos together

Step 5: ORGANIZE I’ll organize them chronologically on a USB flash drive in files/folders

Step 6: RETURN I’ll return your digitized/organized/labeled videos to you

My all-inclusive services are locally based here in Hot Springs, AR, which means

  • you don’t have to package your tapes and drive to the post office to ship your photos out-of-state,

  • you don’t have to leave your house,

In other words, I’ll

  • drive to your place and

  • pick up your videos

I won’t just digitize your VHS tapes and return them as-is. I’ll take it a step further by

  • editing the tape into individual clips by event and

  • labeling the clips according to what’s written on the tape (which we can revise if needed)

Other companies simply digitize your VHS tape, which is fine.. but that can leave you with hours of tape to fast-forward through if you’re looking for a certain part, since most of our tapes have more than one event on them.

Here’s what I’d do

Let’s say you have a VHS tape. It has 1.) your daughter’s basketball game 2.) a family trip to Destin and 3.) the beginning of your son’s birthday party.

Then let’s say you have a second VHS tape that has 1.) the second part of your son’s birthday party on it.

I would take the first VHS tape and edit them to three separate events (the basketball game, the family trip, and the birthday party) so if you want to watch your beach trip, you can just select that video clip and watch it (without having to scroll through the basketball game first).

Plus, I would take the second part of the birthday party from the second tape and include it with the first half so that it is one clip of the birthday party (and not split in two).
